MFT November Sketch Challenge!

This week at MFT,
 the sketch challenge #462 is
a fairly simple one!.

Here's my take on a much needed Get Well card for my ready-to-go collection!

Image is PI Bed Rest

Isn't she so cute?

Enjoy the week!

PS   Sorry, had mistakenly titled this the Color Challenge!
With the overcast sky, it was difficult enough to get a photo of my SKETCH card!

Best practice at coloring transparent images I ever had!

Sassy House Mouse!

"Outdoor Fun"
or "Anything Goes"

I think this qualifies for an OUTDOOR theme!
Nothing more exciting than trick-or-treating door to door!

This little fella is full of stubbornness and attitude!
(Something I would think I'd hear my grandkids say!)

House Mouse most definitely has some of the most adorable images out there!
I've been using them for years now and never tire of coloring them!

Here's hoping everyone has a safe and wonderful
Halloween!

The current challenge at
is:
"Make it Sparkle"

This fun image from AI
is called
"Take Life"
and, as are all of the adorable gals in the collection,
hilarious!

The red pattern paper is a glossy red on red from DCWV
and the Blue polka dot has sparkle dots.
The addition of the little removable gold sparkle cup paper clip is for a friend who loves to keep a weekly calendar and mark dates
by clipping the pages!

Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather and
"having a cuppa" of their own!
Me? I'm a Starbucks Hot Chai Tea gal!

Daffodils are blooming!

The color challenge at
(My Favorite Things)
this week is:
Yes, disregarding the current season,
I made this "card" for my mother because she loves all flowers all of the time!!

The frame is pressed wood, stained to a dark walnut with
Tim Holtz Distress Stain
and the image colored with orange and yellow Copic markers.

I simply glued the thin wooden frame to a card base after finishing the details.
It will make for a lovely piece of room décor after she reads the card inside.

The pin was one I made by "stringing" beads onto a long hat pin and inserted through the bow.

It's always nice to know a card you work a long time making will be much appreciated not only at the time it's received, but kept and admired for a long while after!
This will bring a bit of the outdoors in for her!

Also, happily entered in the challenge at
Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather!
We are actually having pleasant temperatures in the double digits again here in Phoenix!
No more 100 degree days until next summer!

Bad Doggy!

Birthday/
Any Occasion card
using the "Bad Doggy"
stamp by a dear friend,
Jennifer Dove (Dove Arts)!

I've hung onto this card kit by Jennifer for a long time, and had just pulled it out to practice Copic coloring animals!

I love the monthly challenge at
that requires using a pet on your birthday project!
And I would LOVE to add some new images from
My Favorite Things!

Inside sentiment reads :
"Because being YOU is the best birthday gift
you can give to yourself and others!"

I have so many friends who are fellow dog lovers that this card will be sent out very soon, I'm sure!
Always good to have a few birthday cards on hand!

Well, speaking of dogs, I must go feed my two before they think they've been forgotten!
